While initially slightly rough to the touch, the leather evolves into a silky smooth texture with a rich, distinctive patina over time — rewarding patience and daily wear with character unmatched by modern production.
The Badalassi Carlo tannery employs traditional vegetable tanning methods, using tree barks in a process with roots spanning centuries.
