At its core is the legendary Ishikawadai spinning machine, a rare piece of equipment from 1953 that spins yarn at a significantly slower speed than modern machinery. This process preserves the integrity of the cotton fibers, resulting in a fabric with a naturally irregular, hand-spun texture and the subtle depth that defines ONI denim.
This stretch version maintains the same visual identity—slub, unevenness, and greencast indigo tones—but incorporates 2% polyurethane into the weave.
