At the core of the fabric is the legendary Ishikawadai spinning machine, dating back to 1953. Operating at a much slower speed than modern machines, it preserves the integrity of the cotton fibers, resulting in yarns with a naturally irregular, hand-spun appearance and a refined, organic texture.
This stretch variation retains the same visual identity as the original—subtle slub, unevenness, and greencast indigo tones—but incorporates 2% polyurethane into the weave.
