Studio D'Artisan 1923 Supima Cotton Chino Pants Indigo Green

Studio D'Artisan 1923 Supima Cotton Chino Pants Indigo Green

The Studio D'Artisan 1923 Supima Cotton Chino Pants are a refined interpretation of classic chinos, blending heritage-inspired design with premium Japanese craftsmanship. Designed for everyday wear, they combine timeless style with modern comfort and exceptional durability.

The fabric is crafted from Supima cotton — the highest grade of American-grown Pima cotton, accounting for less than 1% of U.S. cotton production. Prized for its rare extra-long staple fibers, Supima delivers silky softness, a natural sheen, and unmatched durability. Woven in a densely constructed gabardine, the fabric is smooth and supple against the skin while remaining tough enough to withstand years of wear.

What sets these chinos apart is their layered dyeing process, which produces an unparalleled richness and dimension. The fabric is first dyed in indigo to establish a deep base tone, then overdyed in deep emerald green. After cutting and sewing, the chinos are washed and hand-worked to gently surface the underlying indigo — letting subtle traces of blue peek through the green to create a complex, multi-tonal appearance impossible to replicate through single-color dyeing.

The silhouette is a mid-rise straight leg with a moderately wide profile — timeless, easy-wearing, and equally at home with sneakers, loafers, or boots. Construction details include a button fly, two slant front pockets, a discreet coin pocket, and two rear pockets (left with button closure). Buttons are made from natural tagua nut (corozo) for a refined, organic finish. The fabric has been one-washed, so no further shrinkage is expected.

Fit Notes: These chinos run slightly small. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting trousers to ensure the right fit.
